TERMS AND HOLIDAYS in general

Official Autumn Term (for official use such as visa application)
1 August – 31 December
Actual studying will be from end-August till mid-December depending on courses

Official Spring Term (for official use such as visa application)
1 January – 31 July

Actual studying will be from around 7 January till end-May depending on courses

 


Christmas holiday is approximately from mid-December till 6 January.
Summer holiday is approximately from end-May till mid-August.
The length of the summer holiday depends on the student’s own situation – if you have a project work to do, you will of course follow the project schedule.


Other holidays: Finland’s Independence Day, 6 of December. Epiphany, 6 of January. Easter holiday. May Day, 1 of May.
