Enrolment for the spring term by 15 January:
If you enrolled as "not attending for the spring term" and if you want to change now to "attending for the spring term", please pay the student union fee by 15 January.

Enrolment time for the academic year 2009-2010 was already finished on 15 September, 2009. If you have not enrolled in time, please follow the direction below:

Finnish Courses of the University of Helsinki, Language Services

If you are a degree student at TaiK and have successfully passed the Finnish language and Culture - course at TaiK (4 ECTS, WebOodi code 02069) and would like to continue to study intermediate Finnish, you are asked to contact  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   before registration.

You will need an authorisation from TALSS to go with your registration. The registration will be done using the electronic registration form.  Note: You will need the authorisation from TALSS to replace the receipt of payment of the course. Without the authorisation the registration will not be valid. TaiK will not reimburse fees paid directly to the University of Helsinki Language Services.

Flexible JOO Study Right for Degree Students

JOO is the Flexible Study Rights Agreement between universities in Finland. BA, MA and Doctoral degree students can include completed courses at any other university into their home University degree.

JOO-studies always require the approval by the professors of the degree programmes, both at the student's own university and at the receiving university.

For many universities you can apply on the net.

If your name is changed, you should bring an official document or a copy of it to TALSS office. In this way we can make your certificate and transcript with your correct address/name, and correspondance from TaiK will also reach you.
