Apply for a furnished flat at HOAS? HOAS is letting out furnished flats for the spring 2011. The apartments are located in Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa. The monthly rent in a shared flat is 389€/month. In a shared studio 266,50€ -269€ and in a studio 533€-538€.The apartments can be rented out until the end of June. If the lease starts at the beginning of May at the latest, you do not have to pay for June. Students need to renew their residence permit before it expires. It is recommended to start the process a couple of months in advance. Summer time is especially busy. The renewal is done at the Malmi Police Station.
The required documents are the same as when you applied at the Embassy/Consulate of Finland in your home/residence country.

You have to bring your passport and the required documents to the Immigration Police, close to the Malmi train station in Helsinki City, if you live in Helsinki.
