I come from a background in geography and fine arts, where my goal is to find a balance between these two fields. My particular area of interest is how engagement in artistic processes can help us make sense of our role/s (social, ecological, etc.), beyond rational learning and conventions.

100 boats for aina

This year, 2010, marks 100 years since my great grandmother, Aina, left Finland on a boat for America. Now, while I am living in Finland, my intention is to make and launch 100 small boats here before the year is through. See project site: 100boats.blogspot.com
