I was born in 1983 in Silves, Portugal. My main subject is Painting. I graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, Portugal, in 2006 with the Painting degree. At the moment I am attending my Master Degree in Fine Arts in University of Art and Design of Helsinki (TAIK), Finland.

I mainly work with Abstract Paintings, which are visuals approaches to the surrounding environment: Objects and Atmospheres.
The main issue is the Informal/Formal area of Painting - colours and shapes have a central position, with the imperative of construction of a metaphoric environment. There, the visual perception and the human response is the main subject.

I also work with different Medias as Printmaking and Mosaic. In those the informal areas remain the principal focus of the work, with an approach made possible by the use of different materials.

The interesting factor of all my conceptual thought is the attempt of transforming the “world motion” by the internal flux of forms. World vision in a materiality that situates besides a visible dimension, where forms no longer are symbols of anything, but simple notes without any perceptual reference.
